About the Auati project

A multi-currency project with impact, aimed at strengthening the new economies.

The AUATI platform is a virtual marketplace that connects professionals and companies sharing a common interest in trading services — fully or partially. It is a social-impact project that aims to empower professionals to believe that "their work is their currency".

The initiative benefits professionals who want to do business without spending cash on the transaction. It also helps professionals who are unemployed, have idle time, or want access to goods and services their money cannot buy.

Auati's technological differential is bringing back the oldest form of trade — bartering — into a safe online environment where people can trade services directly, with ease of use. A free-bartering platform has the potential to democratize access to services, allowing people with different skills to collaborate and help each other without relying solely on financial resources.

To take part, simply sign up and tell us what work you do and which services you would like to acquire through a full or partial trade. Every professional gets an ad and a profile page to promote their work. You can also browse opportunities on the platform, choose the profiles you find interesting, like them, send messages and start negotiations directly. The platform does not get involved in the negotiation between parties — its role is to connect professionals with shared purposes.

And you? What do you do, and what would you like to trade?

Learn more about Auati
Colored corn image

Auati means "corn" in the Tupi Guarani language 🌽.

Considered the staple food of several civilizations, corn was also widely used as an important means of exchange in bartering. Bartering was used before monetary systems existed. This kind of trade — also known as exchange or direct swap — involved only things, services or both. It was very common among indigenous communities during the colonization of Brazil.

For ancient civilizations the term Auati also meant "the sustenance of life". Its symbology evokes prosperity and collaboration.

When designing the Auati brand we used 3 corn grains in yellow, blue and pink, representing the diversity of professionals on the platform and how they interact and connect to generate prosperity within a new concept of multi-currency economy — an alternative to the traditional consumption model that is so relevant in this new world.
